Océane Hair Lounge was created as a reflection of everything I’ve lived, loved, and grown through—motherhood, healing, and the belief that we are always allowed to begin again. Founded in the heart of Santa Barbara, Océane is a coastal-inspired salon designed to feel calm, elevated, and deeply welcoming. It’s a space where you can slow down, exhale, and be taken care of. With over 20 years behind the chair, I specialize in custom blonding, balayage, and long-layer haircuts that feel soft, natural, and effortlessly lived-in. My approach is rooted in enhancing your natural beauty while protecting the long-term health of your hair, using sustainable, high-quality products like Davines. As a mother, I understand the importance of having a space where you can come back to yourself—even if just for a few hours. And as someone who has walked through seasons of growth and healing, I’ve created an environment where you don’t have to show up perfectly… you can simply show up as you are. CANCELLATION POLICY
To ensure optimal service and availability for all our clients, we kindly request that you provide us with a minimum of 24 hours notice for any appointment cancellations. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service price will be charged to your account. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in allowing us to efficiently manage our schedule and accommodate every client. No shows will be charged the full price of the service.

Hi, I’m Carrie—founder of Océane Hair Lounge. I’ve been behind the chair for over 20 years, but the truth is… this space was built from so much more than experience. It was built from becoming a mother, from walking through seasons that stretched me, and from learning how to rebuild myself from the inside out. Hair has always been my art—but over time, it became something deeper. A way to help women feel like themselves again. Not overly done, not forced… just soft, natural, and aligned. I specialize in custom blonding, balayage, and long-layer cuts that grow out beautifully and feel effortless in everyday life. I’m deeply committed to the health of your hair, which is why I use sustainable products like Davines and take a long-term, intentional approach to every transformation. But what matters most to me is how you feel when you’re here. Océane was created to be a space where you can breathe… where you don’t have to rush… where you can be taken care of in a way that feels calm, genuine, and real. Because I know what it’s like to need that space. And I know how powerful it is to walk out not just looking different—but feeling like yourself again.
